Tribute to Roger SURAUD
Enlarge the illustration A tribute to Roger SURAUD, who passed away last June at the age of 77.
The undisputed leader of “peinture philosophale” (philosophical painting), Roger SURAUD ranks among the greatest masters of our time.
His powerful, symbolic, even mythical work is a constant invitation to travel, to dream and to meditate; it will live on for ever.
In its latest issue (No. 187), UNIVERS DES ARTS magazine pays him a moving tribute, written by Thierry Sznytka.
Galerie Marciano is showing the artist’s latest works.
