Biography in French.
Autodidacte, Patricia Caroff peint depuis vingt-cinq ans. D’abord très figuratif, elle adopte progressivement un style plus cubique pour se concentrer sur le propre de la couleur. Travaillant le zinc depuis six ans, l’artiste axe aujourd’hui son oeuvre sur le travail de la matière.

Reconnue pour sa technique picturale singulière, Patricia Caroff expose personnellement dans toute la France. Elle participe à de nombreuses foires et salons chaque année, notamment le Salon des arts et les Réalités Nouvelles à Paris.
Les oeuvres de Patricia Caroff se composent essentiellement de lignes horizontales et de superpositions harmonieuses de couleurs. Toutes leurs profondeurs se révèlent dans la richesse de la matière : les tableaux sont composés de zinc, de bandes de gaze, de pigments, d’encres et d’acrylique. La matière travaille la couleur, elle s’y superpose, s’y accroche et la voile.
